Character Map for the Wingdings Symbol font.

This represents the ASCII Character Map for the 255 character codes (minus the first 32). This example uses the Wingdings Symbol font. If you were to type in “Alt” and the three numbers to the left and add the single number along the top row, you will get the symbol shown in the grid when you specify the Wingding font at that point. EX:  Alt+xxxx

There are a wide variety of characters here for use as bullets, dividers, icons, and such. This includes all the astrological symbols, numerous arrows and stars, and numbers for lists or maps descriptions. Telephone, Clock, and Mail icons can make your forms and messages attractive - and help them get read and remembered. These symbols can be used in most word processors to enhance your office flyers and announcements. Wingdings is generally loaded with a standard default Windows installation.
